Some people I know would have me not talk about Jesus Christ; not discuss “religions” matters when I am around them. They like me as a person and like being around me; they just want me to drop all the Jesus jazz. My answer to them is first, my relationship does not leave room for religion; secondly I cannot split my life in Christ from everything else. Like meat that is marinated, Christ is engrained deeply in every aspect of my life, and we cannot be separated.
They do not realize that Jesus has changed my life; more so He has given me new life! I was dead in my sins and He revived me. How then can I be silent? How then can I hide what has been done in me? I cannot. Furthermore, I will not have the lifeless, soulless rocks, crying out His praises; it is my privilege, my honor: He is my King!
