Free – John 11:44

And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, "Loose him, and let him go." John 11:44 (NKJV)

Once I was dead; bound in sin. Then Jesus came upon the scene.  He called out to me, urging me to come to Him.  As I started to waddle toward Him bound by sin and justice an amazing thing happened.  He commanded, “Loose him, and let him go.”  My eyes were opened and my soul was released from death; I was alive!

You may think that this is the story of Lazarus, but it is my story too.  I was dead in trespasses and sins, destined for eternal damnation. I was bound hand and foot; my eyes were covered so that I could not see. But then a voice cried out to me in darkness, “Come forth!”.  I came, I accepted the call and Jesus much like He did for Lazarus, gave me life!

Are you alive? Or are you a dead man walking?  Jesus is calling for you to come forth.   Answer Him; accept His invitation and take the first wobbly steps toward Jesus.  He will do the same for you that He has done for many others, He will give you life and set you free!
